Before the steamboat dinner on Saturday evening started, a good half an hour was spent with Malcom and Han Yi. The two little ones whom most adore.
Han Yi was super cheeky. He was asked to pronounce the word “fish” which proved to be a challenge because of his missing front teeth. The harder he tried, the more airy the word sounded. While he was in my arms, he said the word so forcefully that he splattered my face with his saliva and air. He enjoyed watching how i cringed and giggled non-stop. Hahaha! Extremely adorable :D
One moment, he was all cheeky and adorable. The next moment, he impersonated Bruce Lee and showed off the famous ”come-for-me” move. Hahaha! What followed were countless hand shoves, leg kicks, punches, etc. And he didn’t go easy with his moves. Each punch or kick inflicted pain on my skin. Of course i tried to avoid most of them rather than getting hurt by him. In the end, i decided to grab him and take revenge. Tickled his sides till he couldn’t take it. Hiak hiak hiak.
And there was Malcom! The intelligent and highly inquisitive boy. Sometimes, the questions he asks are questions even we adults do not think about. The easiest way to get about it is to reply with, “It’s all about science.” Haha!
So happy to have received a hug (after some persuasion) from Malcom!
Kids never fail to lighten my mood. I relish the times where i used to look after and play with Babe. It always makes me want to have my own child to care for. For now, it can only be an unrealised thought. Hahaha!
